Snow Rose Greeting Card

We seldom get snow, not even once a year. One time we got the most beautiful, fluffy white snow, coming down slowly all Valentine’s Day. One of my sons was busy delivering flowers, bringing love and joy into the hearts of many. He even dropped off a dozen roses for me. The joys of being a mother. Now his younger siblings were pulling on whatever sock, mittens, gloves they could find to play with this snow. Out they run, scrapping up snow, building a snowman.
While I watched the snow drift down, smelling the bouquet of roses, a thought hit me. I grabbed a rose and my camera. How would that deep red rose look with snow crystals. I just had to find out. Now where to put that rose? Got it, the snowman needs a rose, it is a Valentine’s day Snowman, of course he gets a rose.
So I gently place the rose in Frosty’s hand and watch the snow flicker down. Loved the results. Took pictures of the kids and snowman too. The next Christmas we used that rose for our family Christmas cards, with another picture of the kids and snowman on the inside. Made a great Valentine’s card too.
